While exercising at Lifetime Fitness, I want to know that my wallet, smartphone, and other valuables are safe inside a secure locker.
On the first day of my Lifetime Fitness membership, I was pleasantly surprised as I walked into the locker room. The locker rooms are spacious, and they’ve considered every detail. I can easily hang my suit in the floor-to-ceiling locker, and after I turn my key in the lock, I know my belongings are safe.
So how do the locker rooms look?
The design of the locker rooms is stunning, no stone is left unturned, and you can also turn some stones during a hot stone massage in the LifeSpa next door.
When you walk into the locker rooms, you know instantly that they are nothing like your local swimming pool’s changing rooms. Oak, cherrywood, and cedar panels are used for the lockers and shelving amongst the cream-colored marble of the walls and floors. You’ll see freshly folded towels and a range of toiletries next to the private shower stalls.
Are the locker rooms safe?
Even D.B. Cooper will need help getting away with your valuables. The Lifetime Fitness locker rooms take care of your belongings while you take care of breaking your squat record.
Depending on your location, your locker either be secured by a membership card or with a four-digit code. Many members like to keep the card in their pocket or clipped to their shirts during a workout.
Can I bring my shampoo and soap?
The locker rooms at Lifetime Fitness have some high-quality shampoos, soaps, and conditioners for you to use, but if you want to bring your toiletries, go for it! There are shelves in the locker rooms and showers for you to place your things.
You’ll still find everything from hairdryers, cotton buds, and fresh towels inside the locker rooms, free to use for all members of Lifetime Fitness. Unsurprisingly, they also offer new razors, hairspray, tampons, deodorant, and even q-tips. That’s a lot of value for the price of your membership. Some of their toiletries are made by Soapbox and J.R. Watkins.
Do I need to bring my towel?
A freshly washed stack of towels is never far away at Lifetime Fitness; you’ll find them beside the swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas, and steam rooms. Don’t doubt their cleanliness; these towels are guaranteed to be washed and sanitized daily.
There are also smaller towels in convenient places around the facility to wipe down exercise equipment before and after use.
Are the locker rooms clean?
Lifetime Fitness wants to offer a premium experience to compete with luxury gyms like Equinox, which are popping up throughout the United States. Reviews on Google mention that the facilities are immaculate and tidy, which is what we expect from a top-level fitness club.
Sanitizing surfaces has become even more critical since the emergence of COVID-19 in 2019. Gyms like Lifetime Fitness make this a priority. They have scheduled deep cleans for all of their high-traffic surfaces, and there are sanitizing stations throughout the fitness club. I can tell that the surfaces get cleaned regularly in the locker rooms, and the workout equipment is regularly sprayed too.
Lifetime Fitness invested in advanced air filtration during the pandemic for their clubs, and I can feel the difference. Showers and changing rooms can get musty and humid, but the air in the locker rooms at Lifetime Fitness is fresh and clean at all times.
Are the Lifetime Fitness showers good?
You’ll enjoy stepping under the Lifetime Fitness showers; the private stalls with frosted glass are perfect for emerging refreshed and ready to hit the road. There’s a bench inside and a few hooks to hang clothes or towels.
While you shower, dry your bathing suit off in one of the centrifuges in the locker room; what modern times we live in!
Can I bring my kids to Lifetime Fitness?
Lifetime Fitness knows that exercise isn’t just for adults, and getting privacy in the locker room isn’t going to be a problem when you bring your kids for a swim. You’ll be able to use a dedicated family locker room, which is great for parents. It offers all of the things that you expect from Lifetime Fitness locker rooms, with added privacy.
Final Words About Lifetime Locker Rooms
The locker rooms at Lifetime Fitness are perfect for individuals and families; they tick all of the boxes. They are safe and secure, private and clean, which are essential to me. If you visit a Lifetime Fitness location this week, leave a review on Google and tell others what you think of the locker room!
